How do I unlock stories?

Fables unlocks animated stories as you walk. Your Apple Watch and iPhone count your steps, and reaching each step goal reveals the next story in the collection. Just keep moving through your day.

My steps aren't being counted.

Fables needs permission to read your motion & fitness data. On your iPhone, open Settings → Privacy & Security → Motion & Fitness and make sure access is enabled for Fables. Wearing your Apple Watch while walking gives the most accurate count.

What does the in-app purchase include?

Fables offers a one-time unlock that opens the full story collection, including the weekend stories. It's a single purchase — no subscription.

How do I restore my purchase?

If you reinstall the app or get a new device, open Fables and choose "Restore Purchases." As long as you're signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase, your unlock will be restored at no extra charge.

I was charged but nothing unlocked.

First try "Restore Purchases" in the app. If that doesn't help, email [email protected] with the date of purchase and we'll sort it out. Refund requests are handled by Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com.

Which devices are supported?

Fables runs on Apple Watch and iPhone. Make sure both are updated to the latest version of watchOS and iOS for the best experience.
